Frequently Asked Questions
Once you enter into the parking lot you will see several handicap parking spots and Guest Parking Signs to your immediate left. You can park in these designated spots and enter through the entrance on that side of the church. You may also drive to the rear entrance of the church and park conveniently in a number of spaces that will allow you to enter through the main entrance at the back, under the canopy.
On Sunday morning, you will see people dressed in a wide range of attire from jeans to dress clothes. We want everyone to feel at home.
Children are important here at Hikes Point. Our KidzPoint Children’s Ministry is designed to specifically help children feel comfortable, while also offering an environment for learning and fun. The KidzPoint Children’s Ministry takes great pride in being a safe and state-of-the-art facility. Your kids will be as happy as you are! A check-in area is located inside entrance #2. Please feel free to ask where it is located when you come through any door.
Currently, our Children’s classes occur during our 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM service.
Middle and High School Students are invited to join other students for our Student Ministry Bible Study at 11:30 AM on Sunday mornings and our Student Worship Service on Sunday evenings at 5:30 PM in the Student Ministry Area. Doors open at 5:00 PM Please enter at our main entrance, under the canopy from the back parking lot.
On Sundays, Hikes Point offers worship at 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM. Sunday worship is filled with great worship music, insightful video clips, and relevant messages. English services are offered in the Sanctuary at 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM. A combined English/Spanish service occurs during our 11:30 AM service in the Sanctuary. Each of our services typically last 65 minutes.
Communion is available to all believers in Jesus every Sunday. Our practice is to eat the bread and drink the juice together in a time of remembering Jesus and what He did for us when He died on the cross for our sins.
Offering – As a guest, you are not expected to give an offering. Offerings are given by our members as part of their commitment to God and the church to help further ministry in our community, our region, and throughout the world.
