Over the past few weeks we have seen pictures and videos of the heartbreak and loss that so many in Florida, North Carolina, and Tennessee have experienced from the catastrophic damage and flooding caused by Hurricane Helene.
How Can We Help?
It is our heart as a church family to care for and pray for those who are in need. Below you can find specific ways that we can pray for those who have been affected and ways to help in the recovery process in the short and long term. International Disaster Emergency Service
Christian organization IDES is currently engaging with those who have been impacted by Hurricane Helene. Volunteers are needed to help those who are hurting and to help with a variety of emergency needs. Register here to volunteer or send an email to volunteer@ides.org. Samaritans Purse
Samaritan’s Purse is responding in five locations across four states. They are actively partnering with local churches to field teams who are helping hurting homeowners in Jesus’ Name. Volunteers are assisting to mud out homes, cut downed trees, tarp roofs, and remove debris to help families get through this historic crisis.
